This class is a supportive bridge between a traditional Chair Yoga class and a gentle strengthening practice. It is perfect for those who may not feel ready for a full mat-based yoga class but are looking to gently build strength, balance, and confidence in their body.
Chairs will be provided and used throughout the class for seated movements as well as standing movements using the chair for stability and support. We may also incorporate light strengthening exercises using resistance bands or other gentle props.
Participants are encouraged to move at their own pace and choose the level of movement that feels best for their body. Some movements will be done seated, while others may be done standing with the support of the chair to help build balance and stability.
This class is ideal for those who:
• Are transitioning from Chair Yoga and looking for a little more movement
• Want to gently strengthen the body in a supportive way
• Prefer using a chair for stability and balance
• Enjoy a slower-paced class with options for every level
