Join us for Summer Camp 2026!
HP Rec's Summer Day Camp offers families a safe and fun place for their children to spend their summer! For 6 weeks, we provide weekly themes, trips, and treats and daily activities planned by our incredible HP Rec Experience Team! Come Join us this summer for memories and friendships that will last a lifetime!
What to Know:
Guidelines and Procedures:
- Each camp is permitted as a NYS Department of Health Day Camp
- Camp Space is limited based on safe staffing ratios set by the NYS DOH
- Only authorized camp personnel Will Be allowed in Schools during camp hours
- All necessary forms and documents must be submitted prior to registration
Dates and Times:
- Summer Camp 2026 Runs from Monday, June 29th-Friday August 7th
- Exclusion Dates: Thursday, July 2nd and Friday, July 3rd
- Base Camp Runs from 8:30am-3:30pm
- Before Care Runs from 7:00am-8:30am
- After Care Runs from 3:30pm-5:30pm
Location:
- Camps are split by grade level based on the grade that they will enter in the fall
- K-1st and Half of the 2nd-4th grade campers will be at Village Elementary
- Remaining 2nd-4th grade and all 5th-7th grade campers will be at Merton Williams
Field Trips, Treats, Guests, and More!
- All Field Trips, Visitors, and Treats are included in the cost of camp
- The 5-7 SeaBreeze Trip scheduled for Week 3 comes with an additional charge of $15 which is reflected in the fee charged
- Campers will also be provided a Camp T-Shirt
- The below calendar outlines our plan for the summer (please note that this is subject to change)
- We will not be swimming this summer
2-4 Site Location:
- Our 2nd-4th graders will be split into 2 locations this summer
- Please share the names of any children or counselors that your child would like to be placed with when prompted during registration
- These preferences are not guaranteed but we will do our best to accommodate
- Siblings in the same age group will always be placed in the same location unless otherwise requested
