This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.

We start heading west and It’s off to Jamestown we go with a comfort stop en route on your own ($).  Our main destination is the Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum.  Celebrating the lives, careers, and legacies of the “First Couple of Comedy,” and their incredible impact on the world.  The Lucy Desi Museum features exact re-creations of studio sets from the beloved TV sitcom I Love Lucy, including Lucy and Ricky Ricardo’s New York City apartment and Hollywood hotel suite.  Also on display are screen-used costumes and props, Emmy Awards, and scripts from this legendary TV series.

We then go back in time for a lunch buffet and experience a re-creation of Ricky Ricardo’s famous Manhattan night club, the Tropicana Room.  Enjoy a deliciously themed meal while watching your favorite episode of I Love Lucy.

The comedy continues and the National Comedy Center awaits us.  Inspired by Lucille Ball’s vision for her hometown to become a destination for the celebration of comedy, the National Comedy Center features over 50 immersive exhibits that take you on a laugh-filled, interactive journey through the world of comedy, as you explore stand-up performances, movies, TV and radio shows, cartoons, comic strips and the internet to discover the great works and iconic performers who have elevated comedy to an art form.

The day is almost complete, and we end it with a visit to Vidler’s 5 & 10 in East Aurora.  We have a great day planned!
