A Day in the Country - Portville/Ellicottville, NY

Sit back and relax as we make our way to the Enchanted Mountains to visit Griffis Sculpture Park with a guide to talk about the history which features over 250 large scale sculptures.  Since the early 60’s, the steel sculptures of Larry Griffis, Jr. and other international artists have been residing in the woods, fields, and even ponds of Griffis Sculpture Park, which is one of the oldest and largest sculpture parks in the U.S.  It’s then onto Sprague’s Maple Farms for a scrumptious down home country meal which can be breakfast or lunch.
  
After lunch, the trip continues to the Southern Tier of Western New York in the foothills of the Allegany Mountains for a visit to Main Street of Ellicottville with free time to shop on your own and enjoy the quaint village.  A comfort stop to Tim Hortons will be offered on the way home ($). 

NOTES: The minimum number of registrants has been met and this trip is full.  A waitlist is being taken.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: 7/24 or until seats exist; limited to 52 seats.

Lunch at Sprague's Maple Farms
  • Hot Turkey Sandwich w/homemade gravy, cranberry sauce and choice of mashed potatoes or fries
  • Turkey N’ Biscuits w/ homemade gravy over fresh country biscuit, mashed potatoes served w/cranberry sauce
  • Mainline w/2 buttermilk pancakes, 2 eggs w/choice of bacon, maple sausage or country ham
  • Texas French Toast w/choice of bacon, maple sausage or country ham
