Hilton Parma Youth Baseball & Softball Leagues
Hilton-Parma Recreation offers its youth baseball and softball programs to all boys and girls in the Parma community that are ages 5 and up. Fair play, equal participation, development and fun are the values of our program. Registration includes team hat, jersey, pants and socks.
REGISTER BY MAY 12TH TO BE INCLUDED IN THE FIRST JERSEY ORDER!!
LOCATION: Parma Town Hall Park, Rte. 259. Baseball and Softball fields.
- Responsible Volunteers and Coaches are needed for all leagues and are one of the most important components of all youth sports. If interested, please indicate upon registration.
- Registrations are taken until team rosters fill. Register early as teams fill up fast.
- Teams will be formed by HP Rec and you should hear from a coach before the season starts.
- All participants play at the same time and place but days of the week differ by level.
- If unsure where to place a new player, call HP Rec. at 392 - 9030.
- All necessary equipment is supplied, however, all players are asked to provide their own glove.
SPORT'S LEAGUE REQUEST POLICY:
- The Recreation Department does make the best attempt to honor all requests, but please know it is not always possible.
- Requests ARE NOT guaranteed.
- ONLY one request per registration.
- All requests MUST be completed at the time of registration.
- No requests will be taken after registration has ended and/or if admitted from a waitlist.
- No requests will be taken by email or over the phone.
T-Ball
- Youth currently in Kindergarten or First, and 6 or younger
- Days: Tuesday / Thursday
- T-Ball (Quickball) is a developmental program and is formatted around teaching kids the basics and fundamentals of baseball. Hilton-Parma Recreation utilizes the Quickball Format, its a "Turn-key" program and is a great way for kids to learn and enjoy the sport!

Minors Baseball
- Ages 7-9 (Optional for 10-year-olds who are not quite ready for Majors Baseball)
- Next step up from T-Ball
- Coach Pitch
- Days: Monday / Wednesday

Majors Baseball
- Ages 10 - 14 (10 year olds who are not quite ready for Majors can play down in Minors)
- Expanded rules and Player Pitch
- Days: Tuesday / Thursday

Minors Softball
- Ages 6 1/2 - 9 (Optional for 10 year olds who are not quite ready for Majors Softball)
- Coaches Pitch
- Days: Tuesday / Thursday

Majors Softball
- Ages 10 -15 (10 year olds who are not quite ready for Majors can play down in Minors)
- 1st experience with player pitching
- Days: Monday / Wednesday
