Wright, Dining & Dime Store Delights - Derby, Blasdell, Buffalo & East Aurora, NY

Join us for a fascinating day exploring the architectural genius of Frank Lloyd Wright and some of Western New York's most beloved attractions!

We depart in the morning aboard our comfortable motorcoach and travel to Derby, New York, for a guided tour of Graycliff, the stunning summer estate designed by renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Perched high above Lake Erie, Graycliff is considered one of Wright's most significant residential designs and offers breathtaking views, beautiful gardens, and fascinating stories about the Martin family who called it home.

Following our tour, we'll enjoy a delicious lunch at the legendary Ilio DiPaolo's Restaurant in Blasdell. Known throughout Western New York for its outstanding Italian cuisine and warm hospitality, this local favorite has been serving guests for generations.  Lunch includes choice of entree and fresh garden salad, warm italian rolls,
choice of dessert, coffee & tea, and gratuity.

After lunch, we'll continue to Buffalo for a guided tour of the magnificent Martin House, one of Frank Lloyd Wright's greatest architectural masterpieces. Meticulously restored, this National Historic Landmark showcases Wright's Prairie-style design and offers an incredible glimpse into his vision and creativity.

Before heading home, we'll make a stop at the famous Vidler's 5 & 10 in East Aurora. This nostalgic five-and-dime store is packed with unique gifts, old-fashioned candy, toys, household items, and treasures around every corner. It's the perfect place to browse, shop, and relive memories of simpler times.  Within the time limits, you can also shop the streets in East Aurora if you are in and out of Vidler's quick!

This enjoyable day combines history, architecture, great food, and shopping into one unforgettable Western New York adventure. Don't miss this opportunity to experience two of Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural gems and one of the region's most cherished shopping destinations!
