Get ready to tour our own Greater Rochester International Airport where we will tour the airfield by bus learning about the fuel farm, de-icing farm, tunnel, lighting, numbers on an aircraft as well as the fire department – so much info that you never knew! Afterwards, we will head to Fairport to float on the Erie Canal. The Colonial Belle's narrated tour will familiarize you with the rich history and many traditional landmarks along the scenic Erie Canal traveling west between Fairport and Pittsford. Our cruise includes lock passage at Canal Park in Pittsford and a box lunch will be served.
Lunch choices are turkey sandwich, roast beef sandwich, ham & swiss sandwich, chicken salad sandwich, garden salad or caesar salad and includes deli salad, fruit and a cookie/brownie as well as a choice of coffee, tea or iced tea.
After lunch we will enjoy ice cream at Pittsford Farms Dairy & Bakery for ice cream!
