First of all, thank you for your patience in this unsure time and holding on with us! We are ecstatic to announce we will host a Baseball/Softball League for the 2020 season!

With much discussion and research we decided the best option to host a safe, sanitary, and enjoyable league for the community is an innovative take on baseball. Given the time and undertaking organizing a traditional baseball league, we did an analysis of our baseball/softball league. Ultimately, the decision was made to modify the season with a version of the game called “Quickball”.

Quickball is the grassroots sport of the Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation and is literally quick baseball. With innovative concepts like timed games, multi-batter offenses and “Arena” style action, Quickball is the diamond’s great equalizer – a sport that anyone can excel at regardless of size or strength!

Our mission is always to provide the community with the most fun, engaging, and healthy environment for our participants. We want our players to have fun and stay safe. We are excited and truly feel this is the best way for the 2020 season!

2020 SEASON NOTES:
At this time, we’re organizing logistics such as field usage, dates, times, equipment, coaching needs, guidelines. We once again ask for your patience as we figure through these details but in the meantime, if you are interested, we ask you to register your child on the WAITLIST. This will assist us moving through the organizing process and help figure space, time, dates, equipment and coaching needs. If there are capacity restrictions we will take participant on these waiting list first. If you are already registered for any Baseball/Softball League you will not need to take action at this time. We are excited to share this great news with you all and look forward to sharing some great 2020 baseball experiences!





  • Responsible Volunteers and Coaches are needed for all leagues and are one of the most important components of all youth sports. If interested, please indicate upon registration.


  • Registrations are taken until team rosters fill. WE WILL HAVE LIMITED CAPACITY.


  • Teams will be formed by HP Rec and you should hear from a coach before the season starts.


  • If unsure where to place a new player, call HP Rec. at 392 - 9030.


  • All necessary equipment is supplied, however all players are asked to provide their own glove.

REGISTRATION & REFUNDS:
Once you are registered, it is expected that you and your child(ren) are with the program for its entirety in order for us to limit exposure of participants. For this reason, refunds may NOT be granted once the program begins unless it is cancelled for some unforeseen reasons.
